Gulf
Coast Alloy Welding, Inc. (GCAW), a well established
fabricator of ASME Code pressure vessels, has been serving the
oil & gas and petrochemical industries since 1981. We have
been providing equipment for capital projects both direct to
major petrochemical plants as well as through various engineering
and construction firms. Currently, our shop consists of an average
of 50 shop employees and approximately 35,000 square feet under
roof equipped with capabilities to handle up to 175 tons.
GCAW is
certified by the State of Texas and the National Board of Boiler
and Pressure Vessel Inspectors to fabricate in accordance with
ASME Section VIII Division 1 and 2 and ASME Section I. We also
hold the National Board "R" stamp. Factory Mutual
serves as our Authorized Inspection Agency, so you may be assured
that GCAW will be in compliance with the latest standards of
the ASME Code. In addition, our quality system is in compliance
with MIL-I-45208. GCAW is qualified and experienced in the fabrication
of many materials including 300 series, 400 series, Duplex stainless,
alloy steels, and carbon steel from small diameter to 18 feet
in diameter.
We also
manufacture custom-designed equipment and turn-key modular fabrication
including skid packages. Any of our fabricated products can
be furnished with special linings such as rubber, Teflon, lead,
and brick. All vessels and skid packages are built, tested,
assembled, blasted and painted in-house. This includes any ladders
and platforms, insulation, instrumentation or electrical that
may be required. Our strength lies in our company structure
which is equipped to handle all requests promptly and accurately.
Our engineering and design services utilize the most current
AutoCAD programs with capabilities to electronically transfer
engineering documents world wide.
